Ben Swoboda (28-5) of Evanston Illinois defeated Helm Gelhar (19-14) of Green Bay Wisconsin four games to two in the world series. Swoboda now has three STAR Tournaments wins.

In one semifinal, Swoboda defeated Frank Luisi, three games to none.

In the other, Gelhar defeated Eric Wayne, three games to none.

Luisi won the 3rd-place bracket from the team of Bill Fenlon & Dave Johnson

Swoboda & Luisi won their respective divisions.
