Jeff Matthews (21-12) of Pittsburgh PA defeated Dan Collings (20-14) of Cleveland OH four games to three in the World Series. It was Matthews’ first STAR Tournaments win.

Matthews defeated Roger Hilton three games to one in one semi-final. Collings defeated Terry Motley three games to two in the other semi-final.

Hilton (15-7) won his division outright. Motley won a shootout from Steve DuFresne. In the other division, Collings won the D20 roll tiebreaker at 14-8 from Matthews.
