Craig Schneider (23-14) of Metairie LA defeated Ron McIlroy (22-16) of Dallas TX four games to two in the World Series. It was Schneider’s fourth STAR Tournaments win.

Schneider defeated the tag team of Bill Fenlon and Dave Johnson three games to one in one semi-final. McIlroy defeated Ed Killmer three games to two in the other semi-final.

McIlroy (17-10) and the tag team (16-11) won their respective divisions. Killmer won a shootout from Joel Veeneman to advance to the semis.
