Don Shults (21-13) of Detroit MI defeated Mike Nowakowski (19-15) of Madison OH four games to two in the world series. Shults now has three Star Tournaments wins.

Shults defeated Vic Horvath three games to two in one semi-final. Nowakowski defeated Paul Brownlee three games to two in the other semi-final.

Shults (14-9) and Nowakowski (14-9) won their respective divisions.

In the third-place bracket, the tag team of Bill Fenlon & Dave Johnson defeated Paul Brownlee.
