Mike Nowakowski (20-14) of Madison OH defeated Vic Horvath (18-17) of Detroit MI four games to two in the world series. It was Nowakowski’s third STAR Tournaments win.

Nowakowski defeated Gene Abood three games to one in one semi-final. Horvath defeated Mike Kman three games to two in the other semi-final.

Kman (19-5) and Nowakowski (13-11) won their respective divisions, the latter on a D20 roll over Horvath.
