Ben Leong of Gaithersburg MD (23-15) defeated John Hughes (20-17) of Cleveland OH four games to one in the World Series. It was Leong’s twenty-fourth STAR Tournaments win.

Leong defeated Frank Luisi three games to two in one semi-final. Hughes defeated John Kostyo three games to one in the other semi-final.

Luisi (19-9) won his division outright; Hughes (16-12) won a FTF tiebreaker over Leong for the #1 seed in his division.

Leong wins the Jasper Points title, & the corresponding Papal Room seat.
