Ed Daley (29-20) of Las Vegas NV defeated Bill Meinhardt (33-16) of Arlington Heights IL three games to two in the finals. Daley now has seven Star Tournaments wins.

Daley defeated Don Shults three games to none in one semi-final. Meinhardt defeated Dave Hegg three games to one in the other semi-final.

Daley defeated Vic Horvath three games to two in one quarter-final. Shults defeated Ben Swoboda three games to none, Meinhardt defeated Jack Cahill three games to one, and Hegg defeated Dan Luburic three games to two in the other quarter-finals.

Meinhardt and Shults (both 25-11) won their respective divisions, Meinhardt by a head-to-head tiebreaker over Horvath.
