Vic Horvath (23-10) of Detroit MI defeated Dan Luburic (22-14) of Chicago IL four games to three in the World Series. It was Horvath’s seventh STAR Tournaments win.

Horvath defeated Tony Tucker four games to none in one semi-final. Luburic defeated Paul Brownlee four games to three in the other semi-final.

Horvath and Luburic (both 15-7) won their respective divisions, Luburic on a tiebreaker over Tucker. Brownlee defeated Dave Bengert in a shootout to advance.
