Dan and Tony Luburic (25-7) of Chicago Illinois and Ann Arbor Michigan, respectively, defeated Bill Meinhardt (19-11) of Arlington Heights Illinois four games to one in the world series. This is Dan's first Star Tournaments win and Tony's second.

The Luburics (18-4) won the "high" division and Meinhardt (15-7) won the "low" division.

The Luburics defeated Ben Leong 3 games to 2 in one semi and Meinhardt defeated Vic Horvath 3 games to none in the other semi.

Horvath defeated Donald Leong and Hank Smith in shootouts to advance.
