John Perez (17-10) of Revere MA defeated Michel Gilbert (16-10) of Quebec City, Quebec two games to none in the world series. This is Perez’ ninth Star Tournaments win. To advance to the finals, Perez won a tiebreaker game from John Karadenes. Gilbert (16-8) led the regular season.
