Harry Flawd (17-11) of Lancaster PA defeated Tony Tucker (15-13) of Salisbury Mills NY four games to two in the World Series. It was Flawd’s second STAR Tournaments win.

Flawd defeated Bruce Layton three games to none in one semi-final. Tucker defeated Doug Yano three games to none in the other semi-final.

Brian Smith & John Karadenes (both 12-7) won their respective divisions. Since they both declined to advance, Layton & Tucker became #1 seeds (Tucker by HTH record over Flawd), & Yano & Flawd became #2 seeds.
