Eric Wayne of New York NY (20-13) defeated Bruce Layton (19-14) of Ithaca NY four games to two in the World Series. It was Wayne’s seventeenth STAR Tournaments win.

Wayne defeated Tony Tucker three games to none in one semi-final. Layton defeated Gene Abood three games to none in the other semi-final.

Abood (16-8) and Tucker (15-9) won their respective divisions.
