Gordon Deane (21-13) of West Sand Lake NY defeated Louis LaFerriere (19-16) of Quebec City, Quebec four games to three in the world series. This is Deane’s first Star Tournaments win.

Deane defeated Mike Cohen three games to none in one semifinal; LaFerriere defeated Mike Kman three games to one in the other. Kman (19-5) had the best regular season record.
