The team of Tom Anderson and Mick Van Valkenberg (23-13) of Moreno Valley and San Jose (respectively) CA defeated Terry Sheridan (23-12) of Scottsdale AZ four games to three in the world series. It was Anderson’s fourth STAR Tournaments win, and Van Valkenberg’s seventh.

In one semifinal, the team defeated Stan Suderman, three games to two.

In the other, Sheridan defeated Hank Smith, three games to one.

Sheridan won the division with a 17-7 record.
