Mick Van Valkenburg (21-11) of San Jose CA defeated Hank Smith (15-17) of Torrance CA four games to none in the World Series. It was Van Valkenburg’s tenth STAR Tournaments win.

Van Valkenburg defeated Steve baldeaux three games to one in one semi-final. Smith defeated the team of Tim and Jeff Thornton three games to one in the other semi-final.

Team Thornton (18-6) and Van Valkenburg (14-10) won their respective divisions.
