The team of Jamie & Ricky Corzo (22-10) of Santa Rosa CA defeated Mick van Valkenberg (20-14) of San Jose CA four games to two in the World Series. It was the first STAR Tournaments win for both brothers, and Jamie’s first STAR Tournament entry.

The Corzos defeated James Kanell three games to one in one semi-final. Van Valkenberg defeated Marshall Palmer three games to one in the other semi-final.

Kanell (16-8) won his division outright. Palmer (15-9) won a D20 roll from the Corzos to determine the first seed from the other division.
