The tag team of Bill Nervig (22-13) of Phoenix Arizona and Len Torne of Gilbert Arizona defeated Mark Van Klaveren (20-13) of Phoenix Arizona four games to two in the world series. This is the first Star Tournament win for both Nervig and Torne.

Nervig and Torne defeated Mike Meszaros three games to two in one semi-final. Van Klaveren defeated Sean Oakley three games to none in the other semi-final.

Oakley (16-8), Nervig/Torne (15-9) and Meszaros (15-9) won their divisions.

Van Klaveren defeated Bill Katona in the shootout final to take the wild card spot in the final four.

Van Klaveren defeated Ben Leong in one shootout semi-final and Katona defeated Marshall Palmer in the other shootout semi-final.

Katona defeated Sonny Wilkalis in a shootout for the best third place.

Palmer defeated Katona in a one-game playoff for second place.

Nervig/Torne defeated Van Klaveren in a one-game playoff for first in their division.

Meszaros took first, Leong second and Wilkalis third in a round robin shootout to break a three-way tie for first in their division.
