Ken Brown (19-14) of Oklahoma City OK defeated Mark Delpopolo (17-14), of Atlanta GA, four games to two in the world series. This is Brown's second STAR Tournament win.

Brown defeated Johnny Covalt three games to two in one semi-final. Delpopolo defeated Wayne Cannon three games to none in the other semi-final.
