Mark Van Klaveren (23-11) of Phoenix AZ defeated Stan Suderman (22-13) of Buena Park CA by four games to two in the world series. Van Klaveren now has seven STAR Tournaments wins.

In one semifinal, Van Klaveren defeated Mark DelPopolo, three games to one.

In the other, Suderman defeated Mick Van Valkenberg, three games to two, after being down to his last out in game 3 with the tying run at bat.

Suderman (17-7) and DelPopolo (16-8) won their respective divisions.
