Paul Brownlee (21-13) of Park Forest IL defeated the team of Bruce Layton of Ithaca NY & Mike Kman of Enola PA (17-12) three games to one in the finals. Brownlee now has five Star Tournaments wins.

Brownlee defeated Dave Bengert three games to two in one semi-final. Layton/Kman defeated Mark Giddings three games to none in the other semi-final.

Brownlee defeated the team of Bill Fenlon & Dave Johnson three games to none in one quarter-final. Bengert defeated Brian Smith three games to two, Layton/Kman defeated Eric Wayne three games to one, and Giddings defeated John Perez three games to two in the other semi-finals. Bengert defeated Tony Tucker in a shootout to advance to the playoffs.

Fenlon (14-8), Smith (14-8), Perez (11-7) and Wayne (14-10) won their respective divisions..
