Ken Biss (23-15) of Coral Springs FL defeated Hank Smith (22-15) of Torrance CA four games to three in the world series. It was Biss’ first STAR Tournaments win.

Smith defeated Willy Dominguz two games to none in the semi-final.

Biss and Smith (both 17-11) tied for first in the division. Biss won a shootout for top seed.
