Willy Dominguez (17-14) of Coral Springs FL defeated Sal Caridi (15-17) of Ft. Lauderdale Florida three games to none in the world series. Dominguez now has four Star Tournaments wins. Dominguez defeated Don Shults three games to one in one semifinal; Caridi defeated Larry Grogan three games to two in the other. Shults (17-7) had the best regular-season record.
