Mike Kman (20-12) of Enola PA defeated Richie Wain (16-15) of Pittsburgh PA four games to one in the world series. This is Kman’s eighth Star Tournaments win.

Kman defeated the team of Bill Fenlon and Dave Johnson, three games to two, in one semifinal; Wain defeated Paul Ferraro, three games to one, in the other. The Fenlon-Johnson team & Wain each defeated Paul Brownlee in a shootout to advance, resolving a three-way tie for two spots.

Ferraro (15-7) won the regular season.
